The online book is free but there's a paid PDF, as well as screencasts. Ums kurz zu machen: Die ersten 17 Kapitel (von 31) kann man sich nach dem lesen von "The well-grounded Rubyist" sparen. You missed the two best Ruby books which are: "Eloquent Ruby" and "The Well Grounded Rubyist".
